General information
Secure document destruction by shredding is a positive measure to prevent fraud and identity theft. Paper Depot will arrive at the location to destroy confidential documents on-site. Each Placentia household or business is limited to six (6) bank-sized boxes for disposal. Please leave materials in the loading box for easy collection. If there are documents in folders or 3-ring binders, please remove them before grinding. (There's no need to separate paper clips, staples, rubber bands, or folders, as the grinding process takes care of them easily.)
Electronic waste collection
Anything with a screen. All computer components (printer, keyboard, mouse, tower, etc.). Game drivers, Laptop batteries, Headphones, Satellite dishes/boxes, Small kitchen appliances (blender, toaster, coffee maker, etc.), CD and music players, DVDs and their players, Cassettes, Remote controls, Grooming tools, Lights, Ceiling fans, Chords and cords, Chargers, Christmas lights, Power tools and batteries, spare batteries, Motorcycles electric, Hot Wheels, Solar lights, MOST things that plug into an outlet or require batteries, etc.
Note
Accepted batteries: Car batteries, motorcycle batteries, drill (tool) batteries, laptop batteries, cell phone batteries, etc.
Unacceptable Batteries: Any batteries resembling D, C, AA, AAA, AAAA, N, 9 volt and push button (similar to watch batteries)
